Are you a user of Google Blogger and meanwhile an Amazon Associate? Then you might had the experience inserting your affiliate links into your Blogger post manually. To do this, you need to sign into your Amazon Associates Program, find the right Amazon products related to your current blog topic, generate your referral code, and then come back to your post editing page to insert the code.
It WAS a time-consuming process, indeed. However, it isn’t now, because On December 16, 2009 Blogger launched a new option to help its users to generate revenue: It integrated with Amazon Associates directly so that one can search Amazon’s products and add links directly into blog post from Blogger editor. The integration was taken seriously both by Blogger and Amazon, as both of them announced this event in their own blogs excitedly. Check it on Amazon here and Blogger here.
I had a try on one of my Blogger blog and it works very well. Searching Amazon products from Blogger editor is very convenient and you can add pictures and/or text links very easily, too.
Bloggers will also be able to show dynamic content in their blog sidebar using a new set of integrated Sidebar gadgets, such as gadgets for MP3 clips from the Amazon DRM-free music store, an Amazon Deals gadget, and an Amazon Search box.
Just go to Blogger to have a try, you will love this great tool as me.
